STATISTICA Data Miner
The STATISTICA Data Miner Recipe (SDMR) approach provides an intuitive graphical interface to enable those with limited data mining experience to execute a "recipe-like" step-by-step analytic process. With these intuitive dialogs, you can perform various data mining tasks such as regression, classification, and clustering. Other recipes can be built quickly as custom solutions. Completed recipes can be saved and deployed as project files to score new data.
The STATISTICA Data Miner workspace may be resizing independently of the size of the window. Additionally, the 4 node placement rectangles within the workspace may be sized independently. The workspace may be scrolled to view any parts not currently visible.
STATISTICA Enterprise
XBar-R or XBar-S charts can be created from aggregated data.
A new chart type of "Six Graph" graph can be selected for SPC Analysis Configurations that have variable charts defined.
Options for starting "this week" either on Sunday or Monday
Administrators may restrict the set of filtering operations to those that are logical for the data being filtered.
A Deployment option allows you to directly upload PMML into Enterprise SVB Analysis Configurations so that the PMML can be executed against a Data Configuration
STATISTICA Enterprise Reporter can now generate reports directly as Word documents (*.doc). This requires that Microsoft Word be installed on the machine where the Report is run.
The Ad hoc Analysis Configuration is a special type of Analysis Configuration that just returns the data from the associated Data Configuration without running any analysis or SVB. Running an Ad hoc Analysis Configuration is equivalent to exploring the associated Data Configuration. This is useful for users that want to use STATISTICA Enterprise to import their data, and then perform ad hoc analyses.
To obtain the upgrade to STATISTICA 8 or STATISTICA Enterprise 8 please contact your local StatSoft office. To update your STATISTICA 8 installation to MR-2 download and install the MR-2 update.
