Special Data Mining Methodology courses

StatSoft Ltd Training Services

StatSoft specialises in providing training in applied statistics and data analysis. The courses we organise are suitable for anyone who wishes to gain or widen his/her knowledge of statistical methods, practical applications of data analysis, as well as programs from the STATISTICA family.

Training course organisation

StatSoft offers a wide range of training courses concerning various data analysis methods and reflecting the diverse applications of data analysis in business, industry, research and administration.

Clients benefit from individual training sessions in which attention can be focused on only those issues that are directly relevant to the client company. They are based on our standard course programmes or special programmes, each designed to address specific client requirements. They can also be based on data provided by participants, if required. We are also able to design and deliver courses on aspects of data analysis that are not included in our standard course offer.

Most of the courses we offer do not focus on the functions of STATISTICA software. Instead STATISTICA programs are used as a tool allowing easy and rapid access to required results, while the courses deal mainly with data analysis methods and interpretation of the results obtained. However, we do provide training on the functions and capabilities of STATISTICA systems, if required.

Courses can either take place in the customer's premises or in our well-equipped training facility. We like to keep group numbers to a minimum to ensure effective learning and close contact between trainer and trainee. Rather than relying on formal lecture-style instruction, the courses are based on a workshop approach focusing on practical problems and tasks. Participants are asked to work through prepared examples while the trainer supervises and explains how to properly interpret the results obtained.

A wide range of organisations have benefited from our on-site courses, including: Axalto, Ball Packaging, BMW UK, Cranfield University, Coca Cola Bottlers, The Countryside Council for Wales, GlaxoSmithKline, Hollister, Identex, ICI Paints, Johnson Matthey Catalysts, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Pace Micro Technology, Rolls Royce, Sandvik Hard Materials and many more.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements in detail.
